Healthy Aging Study

Speech patterns can show warning signs for dementia. We’re building tools to detect signs of dementia earlier, based on your speech.

Study Information

Your voice might signal when you’re at risk for dementia. We are building tools so that we can identify risk for dementia more quickly and at an earlier age. This will help researchers to better understand the disease process and develop more effective treatments. We need your help to collect voice recordings to better understand how speech changes as we age.

Participating in this study involves:

  • Making speech recordings on your iPhone or iPad periodically for up to one year.
  • Filling out online surveys to tell us more about yourself and your health.
  • You will be compensated for your participation.

  • You are 40 or over.
  • You speak English fluently.
  • You must have access to an iPhone or iPad and be willing to install the study app.
