Transcriptionist and Speech Recognition QA (Danish)

Job Summary

We are seeking multilingual and/or bilingual individuals with careful attention to detail to transcribe clinical data from audio to text in English and Danish. This is an independent contractor role for which the required weekly time commitment may vary depending on project timelines, but may generally be up to 20 hours per week.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Segment clinical audio data into separate speakers
  • Transcribe clinical audio data in English and Danish
  • Annotate notable features of speech and conversation, such as words, silent pauses, and filled pauses (e.g. “um”)
  • Work with our Associate Product Manager to develop protocol for transcribing in the specified language
  • Assist with quality assurance of data

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient English and Danish
  • Ability to work independently
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Transcription experience
  • Undergraduate degree in one of the aforementioned languages or academic experience in Linguistics
  • Experience with clinical research and/or audio data
  • Experience with cognitive disorder in ageing populations
