Job Summary

We are seeking an individual with experience in corporate and business development with life sciences and ideally digital health companies. This person will play a key role in Winterlight's business development and commercialization efforts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Refine Winterlight’s formal and repeatable sales process
  • Manage all phases of the business development deal cycle, including opportunity development, lead generation, and lead qualification. Work with the Scientific, Clinical Operations and Legal teams to manage timelines and deliverables for pitches, proposals and negotiation of terms
  • Document and maintain key deal and sales data using Winterlight’s CRM
  • Identify key decision makers, determine buying readiness and timelines
  • Possess a strong understanding of Winterlight technology and science
  • Attend trade shows and conferences
  • Translate customer needs and challenges into feature requests for the product and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with scientific and medical KOLs on key projects

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role in life sciences
  • Demonstrated ability to close large, complex deals with pharmaceutical, healthcare and contract research organizations
  • Experience using and maintaining, cloud-based CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc)
  • Experience setting up sales and marketing materials
  • Post-COVID: Travel to the United States and occasional international travel is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, PhD, MSc, or other graduate degree
  • Working knowledge of which industry conferences are relevant (e.g. AAIC, CTAD, etc) for generating new leads
  • Experience in neurological and psychiatric diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, schizophrenia, depression, etc
